Steven I. Bruman
Steven I. Bruman is the owner, president and chief litigator of Bruman and Associates. Mr. Bruman has substantial experience in complicated, high conflict divorce and child custody matters. Mr. Bruman is one of the top 15 family law litigators as indicated by surveys. He has extensive court room experience, litigating over 3,000 cases during the last 28 years. From handling the simplest to the most complex cases, Mr. Bruman has presented numerous topics on family law on behalf of the state bar of Texas. He has acted as a substitute family court judge and as a substitute adjunct professor at South Texas College of Law training attorneys on family law issues. Mr. Bruman has jury and non-jury experience as well as arbitration. He is a very well respected mediator and mediation advocate. Additionally, he is often appointed by the Harris County Courts to serve in the honorary role of the Amicus to the court. Mr. Bruman is a graduate of Rutgers University with a double major in economics and political science. He was 1 of 14 students of 25,000 to receive the honorary Cap and Skull award as well as being elected chairperson to the Rutgers University Legislative Affairs Committee. He received his Juris Doctor with an honorary scholarship at Thurgood Marshall Shool of Law. He is an active member and past team leader of the American Inns of Court, Family Law Division. Elizabeth Meador Bruman
Elizabeth M. Bruman is an experienced attorney who practices commercial litigation and civil appeals. Her primary focus is on real estate disputes, contract disputes, construction litigation and creditor’s rights. In addition, Ms. Bruman has represented clients in Deceptive Trade Practice Act claims, landlord/tenant disputes, shareholder disputes, business workouts, merchant to merchant disputes, and other general commercial and consumer problems. Along with state court civil litigation and appeals, Elizabeth Bruman also handles federal civil cases.
